Dadabhai is eagerly waiting for Shanti to get failed in the Pariksha. Just when Pakhi is about to leave Gayatri's house they get to know about someone's dead body at the ghaat. Pakhi and Gayatri are shocked to discover Manoher's dead body at the ghaat. Pakhi realizes the worst, that Mahamai has killed Manohar and she is disgusted and angry but helpless to do anything. Mahamai starts Shanti's Pariksha. Pakhi runs to speak to Dadabhai. She tells him about what all she knows about old Mahamai's death and its connection with new Mahamai.
